Kindergarten

Both Sadie and I had been anxiously awaiting this day. We had been doing preschool at home for the last year and it was time for us to have our 'alone' time. We did everything together and I think it's good for kids to have their own space apart from their parents.

I think I love this next picture even more than the first. It's totally her fun personality.

Sadie was on the waiting list for this school since January and she didn't officially get in until 4 days before school started. She was planning on going to a different charter school as a back up plan, but we were SO excited she got in this one. She LOVES her teachers, Ms. Davis and Mrs. Miller.

She is sharing a pencil with her friend, Sawyer. They have grown to be best buddies.

The second week of school, Sadie was the star student and so she got to do a poster and a fun little activity for every day of that week.

I loved doing this project with her and am super stoked that the school years have begun.
