Ode to my love...

My hubby is an awesome guy,
Some would say he’s even fly.
He does all sorts of tricks and flips
And sings and quotes all sorts of quips
Everything he does is funny
I’m so glad that he’s my honey.
He throws around our little one,
She thinks that is all sorts of fun.
Adventures await us everyday,
Just like a kid, he loves to play.
He loves the game of volleyball,
And mocks me leaping down the hall.
He wants a Tacoma really bad,
He fixes things just like his Dad.
He had our child kiss a snake
He really knows just how to bake.
For breakfast he’ll eat split pea soup,
He’s not too bad at the hula hoop.
Although he tends to burp and fart,
I think he is a work of art.
His pecks and lats are oh so yummy,
He’s even ticklish on his tummy.
Although he’s got a lot on his plate,
He’s always good for a romantic date.
He prides himself in chivalry,
And I’m so glad that he picked me.

Ryan had to work for his birthday, but we still got to go out for dinner and his cute sister, Ashley, made him cupcakes. I love him, I love him, I love him!!!!!

Once there was a snowman...

Sadie requests we sing "Once there was a snowman" at least once a day, and has done so since she turned one back in May. It is, by far, her favorite song. We've been slackers all winter but finally decided to help her build her first snowman!
Just her size
It didn't take long for her to realize the eyes were cookies...

Now our snowman is blind, but Sadie is happy!

One of those days...

So I must say I have the cutest child! Here is a typical day with Sadie: (all pics were taken yesterday)

Sadie wakes up and asks for raisins.

Alright, this part isn't typical, but yesterday Sadie demonstrated her new climbing capabilities and got into the tub with her pajamas still on while Ryan was showering.
Silly girl!
Here she is helping me load the dishwasher, and then she asks for raisins.
Getting into things she shouldn't be: clean folded laundry and Ryan's foreign currency collection.
After she asks for raisins, she puts a DVD into the game cube...
Sadie loves to rearrange, this is evidence of her rearranging my cupboards. Luckily I stopped her right when she was pulling out the 5 lb bag of flour.
She usually rearranges her books several times a day.
DVDs are also rearranged several times a day, she gets in her pajamas and asks for more raisins, and then she goes to bed.

I love that she enjoys a healthy snack so much, but I have to say no all but once a day or her digestive tract is sorry. :)
