3 Years Old!
Boston turned 3 in November. This little boy is an enigma to his parents. We debated for a long time trying to figure out an activity that he would actually enjoy. We regularly go on family outings that we think he will enjoy and (as you've seen in previous posts) he cries or screams throughout it. We wanted to ensure he actually enjoyed his birthday. We finally decided to take him to ride trains. First, we took him to South Towne Mall to ride the mini train.
We were very relieved to see he enjoyed himself.
This little boy also loves pizza. So across from the mall is Chuck E Cheese. Good decision. He had a ball.
Next, we rode the front runner from Sandy to American Fork. Ryan was kind enough to drop us off and pick us up.
Score! He loved this too!
Dimple heaven! I can't get enough of this smile.
Sadie enjoyed herself as well.
His birthday was actually on Sunday, so we did all the fun stuff Saturday night. Guess what he wanted for dinner on Sunday? Water and fishy crackers. That is the ONLY thing he wanted, so that was exactly what he got. What a weirdo.
At least he tried a bite of his cake. Sometimes he won't even do that. He can be SO picky! Of course he loved his train set sent by Grandma Diana. Lucky boy!
Of her own volition, Sadie decided to make Boston a birthday card and refused any help from anyone. This is her giving it to him.
She did a great job! (Sorry the pic is sideways.)
I'm excited to learn more about this little boy as his vocab develops. I am so glad he is in our family. He has a big heart and gives the best kisses. Love you buddy!
