Sadie and Grandpa fishing!

We didn't catch anything, but Sadie had a blast throwing rocks in the lake.

Sadie's first time running through sprinklers. She had so much fun I kind of felt like I had deprived her of this pleasure for way too long. She LOVED IT!

She was even more daring than her 3 year old cousin, Payton!

Ryan pushes her to excel in the pool. After 20 minutes with him, she was kicking and holding her head up better than ever. (and we go to the pool a lot without Dad)

She's figuring out how to stay afloat with the arm floaties. She's getting pretty good.

This is me keeping her from the pool so I can get a shot of her cute swim suit. Obviously she's not too happy about it, but we love the suit! Thanks Grandma Alkema!

Apparently people are having a hard time posting comments on this blog. I did notice that on a later post, there were three comments that worked. The problem happened when I went to read them, it erased them all spontaneously. If you know what is wrong or have had this experience please let me know how to fix it. Volleyball Tourney

Now that dance is over, I actually have some time and energy to post something. (The recital went really well by the way. I didn't take pictures because I was in charge of it and I was literally running around all night.)

Ryan has very little time to himself with work and his demanding calling, so it was a welcome break to go play volleyball all day on Memorial Day.

It's actually really hard to get action shots. I have about 20 more of them just looking up. :)

They did really well too! They were only 2 games away from the title... and this was their first tournament together!!!

That's Ryan about to spike the ball... it's kinda hard to tell. They did great, and more importantly they had tons of fun! Love it!

Fishing

Ryan and I have been itching to go fishing. I haven't been in years, so it was a lot of fun watch Ryan actually catch a fish.

We went with our friends the Tobeys. This is Ryan and Finn after the only catch of the day.

Sadie really really wanted to hold the fish by herself, but he was too floppy! She loved the whole experience though! Thanks for a fun day Tobeys!

Nail polish is pretty much her favorite thing ever. She asks to have her nails painted at least every other day.
