The title doesn't even cover half of it... she is not even two months and already has TWO bathing suits! I had been looking for swim suits while I was pregnant and noticed that stores only carried suits 12 months and up. I had seriously been to at least 7 different places and commented about my dilemma to some friends and family. Well they certainly came through! My cute mother-in-law found the colorful one and my best friend, Andrea, found the polka dotted one... both in 6-9 months. Well I think they look great on her! I'm now finding excuses to go to the pool or to the lake just to put her in her swim suits, even if she doesn't get in the water! I LOVE them both and thank you Mom and Drea!!!
At Jordanelle Lake on the Independence Day 2008!
Her expression in this picture in now way reflects her feelings on the swim suit. :) This is a few days later at Jordanelle Lake again.
This is her two minutes after the previous picture was taken:
So the water at the lake was WAY too cold for her to get into, so we decided to wait until our community pool was warm and less occupied. This was her first time swimming and Mom and Dad were so proud she didn't cry at all. This video clip probably isn't that interesting for anyone but the grandmas because her only response to the water is wide eyes. I've concluded that this 'rite of passage' is more the parents of the child than for the child. Either way we had fun!

How cute are those swimsuits!! I want the polka dot one for me! :)
I love that polka dot suit! So adorable. Erin, we need to go to lunch or something with Andrea. I haven't seen you two forever!
How fun! I think it's never too early to be safely introduced to the swimming pool. I used to teach the parent and tot class, as well as every other age group. So much fun!
And I agree, love the polka dots!
she looks so dang cute in those little suits, I could just die! Love them! What a sweet heart
Hey Erin! Congrats on your absolutely DARLING daughter! Aren't swimsuits the funnest thing to put a baby into? They're melt-your-heart cute! I love her hair, too! My one year old doesn't have half that much :) Love you! (This is your cousin Heather, btw :))
Those swimming suits are ADORABLE!! And the baby is too :)
Erin and Ryan! What a beautiful little Sadie you have. She's beautiful! Crazy that you know Mel Walton (Walton). She and I were in a serority presidency together at the U. Isn't she great! I love her. So fun to read up on you two. Aren't babies a blast!
She looks so cute in both swimsuits!! What beauty she is and I loved the video of her swimming with her daddy!
I thought the video of her in the water was funny because Gregg always has to balance our girls just like that when they are little. What makes guys think to do the stuff that they do? I love her hair! I hope it doesn't fall out. Both my girls were born with hair and it was gone 2 months later :( . Sadie looks like she has plenty to spare though.
i can't get over that hair... what a beautiful child! just wait till she starts crawling, talking, and walking... your love will just grow and grow. we miss you guys!!!
