Potty Talk?

So it's pretty basic knowledge for parents and non-parents alike that you ALWAYS bring a change of clothes for baby in case of an accident. Well no one told me I should also pack an outfit for ME! Shouldn't that be in Parenting 101? Oh wait, there is no such class...sigh. So on Sunday I was nursing Sadie in the mother's lounge and I sat her on my lap to burp her. She got "the look" and I knew an explosion was going to occur soon, I just didn't know the explosion would be on my skirt! Seriously more got on me than on her! There is no hiding the bright orange stain the size of my fist on my khaki colored skirt. I am also learning skirts/pants are not alone in the battle for cleanliness. I frequently see on parent's shirts milk spots, sticky hand prints etc. etc. but what is the deal with spewing down the cleavage? SOOO GROSS! Then you have to change a lot more than just your shirt, if you know what I mean! I love it that I'm learning all of this, and I love that all you parents out there are nodding your heads thinking of countless stories you have like mine. I seriously love being a mom, even if I have to change my clothes a lot. I can't help but think of one of my favorite lines from Jeff Foxworthy when he said, "Did you know that babies are nauseated by the smell of a clean shirt?"

This is so true. So true. Especially in public. This hardly ever happens at home. It made me laugh, I can relate.

I LOVE that quote. Too funny. And sure enough, I was nodding my head. Crazy kids...and we're only in the beginning.

Haha! It's true. Milk spots, sticky spots, stuck on cheerios, juice, oh the list just goes on. I remember when I used to have the same clean shirt on all day. But isn't it wonderful! I agree being a Mom is so great, you are doing a great job!

so true! Sorry :) When we were in England I got it everytime, no one else just me, and it was never just a small spot but an explosion!
