The Shed

This is a boring post, nevertheless it represents some significant things. We spend every weekend in January and into February going to classes to become licensed as foster parents. The following Saturdays into March were spent building this seemingly simplistic shed. We need the shed as storage for all of our stuff to make room for a new little one. This shed represents just a small portion of our preparation for fostering. We are VERY excited about it. This shed also represents a family principle of hard work. Even Brooklyn had responsibilities to shovel dirt and hold nails. Here we are at the beginning.
Ryan NEVER does anything half-hearted, so we had to dig deep to lay a solid foundation for the shed.
We finished our licensing classes back in February, we had our home inspections in April, and we are STILL waiting for our official license. Because there is a HUGE need in Arizona for foster families, we will have a placement within a week of our licensing. Once we have a placement, I'll let you know, but we won't be able to post pictures of the child for legal reasons. In the mean time, I'll be posting March though July pictures.

Since you are making all these yard improvements I keep wondering if you guys bought a house down in Arizona? Do you still have your condo in PG? Or are still renting? We're excited to be moving to a house we bought in Lindon in the next few weeks. Miss you guys :)
