Ryan made an awesome pass time for the kids for about $3. He got a painter's tarp and made a slip-n-slide. We have lots of little videos but only got a couple of pictures. He later upped the ante by using a rope tied to bicycle handles to pull the across really fast. The kids had a blast!
Boston decided he wanted to wear two church shirts at once. Sometimes I care about what my children wear, other times... not so much.
Sadie has continued to take piano lessons. She has been taking for over 2 years and guess what she plays for everyone? Heart and Soul. Basically anyone on the planet can play that with no musical training. I, of course, want her to show off something that takes skill, but no. Heart and Soul was her favorite. So I made her memorize some tricky songs and forbade her to play Heart and Souls ever again. I'm so mean.
One weekend we drove down to Tucson and stopped by the construction site of the Tucson Temple. It will be the 6th temple in Arizona! So cool.
Ryan was asked to dress as a Book of Mormon character for Primary one Sunday. I figured a towel on the head would suffice, but he had other plans. Good thing they asked him instead of me. :)
One the way home from the zoo one day, my car broke down. Not just a flat tire, I mean broke down because it needed a new alternator. Well some kindly citizens of that neighborhood had the knowledge on how to replace it right there on the side of the road. Thank you good Samaritans!

Meandering through March
I am currently serving in the Relief Society Activities Committee. I was particularly stoked to plan a reenactment of the Organization of the Relief Society. It also happened to be on March 17th, the very day the Relief Society was organized. It was a really fun activity. We used the notes that Eliza R Snow took for the script and everyone had a part or a name from the original attendees. We asked the ladies to dress in pioneer clothes or Sunday dress and an amazing woman in our ward made a bonnet for everyone attending.
