Having taken over the dance companies, I've also taken over the lease for the building we dance in. Normally the girls don't dance over the summer, but I still have to pay the lease. I decided to do the dance camps and was quite motivated to get that lease paid. After passing out over 700 fliers, I was hopeful I would get enough girls. Today was supposed to be the first day, but alas NOT ONE person came. FAIL. It's okay though...Ryan is taking a marketing class right now and in a few months, I'm sure he'll be able to tell me everything I did wrong. I gotta laugh because I totally went out of my comfort zone to do this and I utterly failed. Live and learn! :) :) :)Wednesday, July 8, 2009

That stinks. I didn't know you had taken over the dance companies and lease. Wow, big work. Ryan, hurry up and finish that class so you can help Erin out to get people in!

Don't worry, you are NOT alone. That right there sounds like a repeat of my experience about 2 years ago when I tried to get my summer workshop into a continuing fall thing.

Yeah right if anyone can pull it off it's you. That stinks though. If I were there I'd come in a heartbeat. Miss ya!
