Yes, she's awesome!

Sadie is officially walking everywhere! These videos were taken a few days ago and already she has improved leaps and bounds. I'd guess she's walking about 95% of the time now, and only crawls when she needs to pull herself up again.

Irked

So I just saw the movie Bride Wars and I am SO BUGGED!! The whole "moral" of the story was that you can't really rely on your husband for anything long term. Your best friend is the one that will "always be there". Plus the other theme presented in the movie was that it is expected that you will have a "starter marriage". This is not okay! I love and trust my husband more than anyone else on this planet and I would consider HIM my best friend. Ooooo... I'm just so mad!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I can't believe how fast time flies. I actually had a small breakdown at the store while picking up a card that said, "You're 1!". I was so embarassed that I was crying right there in the store. The other shoppers must have thought I was picking out a "deepest sympathies" card. Anyway, here's a few pics of my big girl.Here she is sporting one of her new dresses while showing off her response to the word TOUCHDOWN!

So close, yet so far...

You may remember a post back in December about my sister-in-law having her baby on a boat off the coast of Japan at only 26 weeks of gestation. I am so happy to let you know, that Mia is doing great and has been home from the hospital for about 2 months. Ryan and I have been missing the whole Stout family a lot and thus spurned the following adventure. X96 radio station was giving away two round trip tickets to Japan today. I tried to be a qualifier for the drawing to win the tickets over the radio, but didn't have any luck. There was one more chance to be one of the 10 qualifiers to win the tickets, but you had to go to the location. I really had a good chance at this because only 30 other people were there to become the 10th qualifier. So I dragged Sadie down there early...but I didn't win. I literally had a 1 in 40 chance of winning. That's actually really good odds, making it sadder when I didn't win. Here's a pic from my phone of Bill, Gina and Kerry live. It was fun anyway and TOTALLY worth a shot! I mean, it's JAPAN!!!!!

New Goal

Ryan insists that this blog not just be about our child. He'd like me to emphasize that we do, in fact, have busy lives outside of Sadie. So this post is about US! We'll begin with the title of this post... we have zero pictures of just us in the last few months and thus I have none to post. My new goal will be to take more pics of things other than Sadie.

First the craziness of Ryan:
HE GOT PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT MANAGER! We weren't expecting this until after he graduated, but he got the position about a month ago at a different branch nearby. He loves his new position and we are super grateful he got it!

HE IS GOING TO SCHOOL FULL TIME!!! So you can imagine he is a VERY busy man. We are thrilled that he will be graduating this December and it sure can't come soon enough!

The craziness of Erin:
This month is the month of recitals for the dance studios where I teach. It will be lots of fun, but time consuming with extra practices and such. This will be the last month of me teaching 5 nights a week and I'm so excited about that!

Also, next year, I've decided to take over the company teams of one studio which is an awesome opportunity, but will be a lot of work. I'm also planning summer workshops for begninning dancers as well as for my company teams. It's been fun for me to plan, I'm just stressing out about getting enough girls to sign up. I've got some advertising ideas, so really it's just a matter of implementing them. Wish me luck!

This and that....

Ryan is such a cute dad. He is just so excited to go exploring with his kids, he just couldn't wait until Sadie was a little bit older to expose her to snakes. He caught this one right by our complex. Don't worry mothers out there. She only touched it for about 1 second.



This video was taken about a week ago and already she is way more proficient at walking with it. She doesn't steer very well and frequently gets stuck. I think its so funny how she yells at the end. Enjoy.
