Independence Day Weekend 2015

We went for a swim at a friend's house first.
We were having some water wars with all the kids and Boston would squirt people and then shake his fist in the air yelling, 'REDEMPTION!" Ryan and I couldn't contain our laughter. How does he even know that word?
We had chicken fights...
And at the end of the day we were invited to slide down this baby!
I felt like a little kid going down this thing giggling like a maniac.
Our friend rents a blow up slide like this every year and they set it up for the next day, so we were the only ones there to use it. We ran up over and over again. It was a BLAST!!
We even tried running up the slide as far as we could before bouncing back down. We were in hysterics by then. It was so funny! Boston and Brooklyn kept to the bottom pool most of the time.
The scouts got our flag up!
The following day I went to a baptism for one of our Primary kids and were invited to a BBQ and pool party at the Hadley's. We sure love our ward!
Their kids are a little bit older than ours, but they played really well together.
Brooklyn has really blossomed in her swimming this summer. The first two weeks she wouldn't let go of me in the water. After getting used to the puddle jumper, she refuses to let me swim with her. She sure loves her independence!
