Go, Give, or Read

Greg Mortenson is coming to speak at BYU's Devotional on Tuesday Oct. 27 at 11:00 am. I would encourage everyone to go , even if you don't attend BYU. It will be more of a forum about Mortenson's devotion to educating children (especially girls) in Pakistan. I read his book, Three Cups of Tea, a few months ago, and was quite touched by his efforts. His philosophy is the most logically sound way to fight against terrorism. .. to educate! Frequently the ONLY choice for education is schools founded by the taliban or no school at all. Mortenson is providing schools that focus on mathmatics, literature etc. without the influence of the Taliban. So, if you can't go to the devotional , read this book. : It is only about a dime to help a child go to school for a month! If you can't donate any money, tell others about this book!
